Hartz Recalls One Lot of Chicken-Basted Rawhide Chips

Check your shelves to see if you have any Hartz Chicken-Basted Rawhide Chips. Hartz is voluntarily recalling one lot of the treats because of the potential of Salmonella contamination.

The Product: The product involved in this recall is two-pound plastic bags of Hartz Chicken-Basted Rawhide Chips, lot code JC23282, UPC number 3270096463. In all, 4,850 bags are under recall.

If You Purchased It: If you have some of this product from the recalled lot, you should immediately discontinue using it and discard it. You can contact Hartz at 1-800-275-1414 with any questions and to obtain reimbursement.
