Plantation, Florida Plans Doggie PaloozaFlo

If you’ll be in Broward County, Florida at the end of this month, check out the Doggie Palooza hosted in the city of Plantation. This event is designed to provide canine owners with information on products and services local companies have to offer.

Events: The festival includes:

  • demonstrations provided by Plantation Police K-9s
  • Action K-9s Frisbee Show
  • the Storm Riders Flyball Team
  • free Dog Caricatures (time permitting, first-come-first-serve)
  • prizes for the Best-Dressed Dogs and Owner/Pet Look-A-Like Contest

When: Saturday, January 31, 2009, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Where: Happy Tails Dog Park, 6600 S.W. 16th Street, Plantation, Florida

Admission: Admission is 1.00 for human companions; dog admission is free. The $1.00 admission fee will benefit the Sanctuary Animal Refuge, a local non-profit organization devoted to finding homeless and abandoned animals loving homes.
