Puppy Bowl V Takes on Super Bowl (TM) Sunday

Television schedules are packed this Sunday with not only the Super Bowl(TM) and all the action that leads up to it but also Puppy Bowl V on Animal Planet. The annual competition features a whole lineup of shelter pups this year--not to mention a unique water bowl cam and plenty of instant replays.

The action begins as "Pepper the Parrot" sings the National Anthem then the puppies get down to business with a play-by-play provided by Harry Kalas, voice of NFL Films and the Philadelphia Phillies. For a break in the action, there's the Kitty Half-Time Show.

All of the dogs featured in PUPPY BOWL V come from regional shelters, including Furry Friends Network, Paw-fect Match Rescue and the SPCA of Anne Arundel County (Maryland). Interested in adopting one? Check out www.petfinder.com.
