Lake Charles, LA Plans Krewe of Barkus Parade

Have you made your Mardi Gras plans yet? Here’s an event that’s top dog with canines and their families: the Krewe of Barkus parade in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Part of the city’s Mardi Gras celebration, the family event draws dog lovers from across the area who parade their pups in full Mardi Gras regalia. Don’t just look for beads to be tossed at this parade but also doggie biscuits!
