NYC’s Hotel Pennsylvania Plays Host to Westminster Dogs

Look for some VIP’s (Very Important Pooches) among the guests at New York’s Hotel Pennsylvania, The World’s Most Popular Hotel(R). The Hotel has hosted many Westminster champions, including 2008 Best in Show winner Uno the Beagle. In fact, guests have been calling for ‘Uno’s Room’ (213A) as well as Room 210A – the date when this year’s champion will be named.

To celebrate this year’s Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, the hotel is hosting several on-site events:

• With the Westminster Kennel Club, the Hotel Pennsylvania will host a live pre-show broadcast feed from the Hotel’s Lobby, for different media outlets to interview participants from their corresponding market. Date: Friday, February 6, 11 am-2 pm EST.
• The Hotel will host a NYC Celebrity Dogs Red Carpet Fashion Show and Awards on the 18th floor ballroom to benefit the Animal Haven Shelter. Date: Friday February 6, 7 pm EST
• The Hotel will again convert function space into what just might be the largest in-door doggie spa in all of New York. Located within the Hotel’s lower level, the 1st In-Line, Inc.-sponsored Green Room Salon & S’paw’ offers a variety of amenities that Show participants require: bathing/beauty parlor/salon, dog grooming/comfort station, exercise area, his/her’s relieving area, and a Dog-tor’s Corner, with a canine masseuse and communicator!
• The Hotel Pennsylvania will have its Doggie Concierge on-site and a Paw Mall.

Pet Friendly Package: Although not offered during the Westminster Dog Show, the rest of the year you and your dog can ask for the Pet Friendly package. Along with a guest room for you and your pet, the package includes:
