Emmylou Harris Stars on DogTown

Singer/songwriter Emmylou Harris asked for the assistance of DogTown with a shepherd mix named Gunnar. The music star, a longtime animal advocate with her own dog rescue facility in Nashville named Bonaparte’s Retreat, had seen Gunnar exhibit both friendly and aggressive behavior, biting numerous volunteers at the shelter. Best Friends Animal Sanctuary sent out animal behavior specialist Sherry Woodward to evaluate the situation and to help Gunnar work toward adoptability.
