Puppy Piñata Celebrates Cinco de Mayo

Since we live in Texas and Cinco de Mayo is a big holiday here, the Puppy Piñata caught our eye. This plush dog toy is stuffed with natural treats.

Selected by “Good Morning America” vet Dr. Marty Becker as one of the “Pet Product Breakthroughs of the Year,” the toy is notable for its interactivity. Giving dogs a chance to “hunt” and catch their prey, the toy was developed as a fun way to play “Go Find It.”

The first Puppy Piñata is a plush blue dog named Poncho. Inside the toy, a special pouch is pre-stuffed with beef jerky treats infused with Glucosamine (to promote joint health) and Omega-3 (fish oil). All Puppy Piñata treats are made in the United States.

Sizes: Poncho comes in two sizes: for Small-Medium and Medium-Large dogs (for dogs more than 40 lbs).

Price: Presently the small Puppy Piñata retails for $9.99 and the large for $14.99. A portion of each Puppy Piñata sale is donated to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) International.
