If you and your four-legged friend are lucky enough to vacation at Maine’s The Cliff House Resort & Spa this summer, you’ll find that canine massages have been added to the list of potential guest activities.

Massages: Two, 25-minute sessions will be offered in the property’s eight pet-friendly Ledges Rooms. The canine massages include:

  • Customized Massage targeting muscles that need extra attention with a variety of massage techniques to ensure the best possible massage for the canine guest.
  • Aromatherapy Massage combining essential oils and a soothing touch to help dogs become stress free.

Pet-Friendly Rooms: Each pet-friendly Ledges Room provides a water dish, canine bed, PYOP bag, ground floor access to an enclosed exercise area, and all-natural dog treats. Dogs are welcome (on a leash) to walk the resort’s 65 acres of lawns, woods and rocky seashore.

Resident Collies: You’ll also find seven resident collies on the grounds of The Cliff House Resort & Spa, which has been owned and operated by the Weare Family since 1872. The founder’s great-granddaughter, Kathryn Weare, shows and trains the collies for agility trials.

Location: Ogunquit, Maine
