Watch for "Get Your Licks on Route 66" Tour

If you’ll be traveling along the old Route 66, keep your eye out for the “Get Your Licks on Route 66″ national adoption tour. It’s traveling the entire length of the old Route 66, from California to Illinois, and partnering with local shelters to focus attention on homeless pets and pet adoptions. The tour wraps up at an adoption event in Grand Rapids, Michigan in early July.
The tour is put on by the North Shore Animal League America, the world’s largest rescue and adoption organization, and FIDO Friendly Magazine, a publication that’s great for traveling dog families.
