August 12 Named "Adopt-a-Less-Adoptable-Pet Day"

Petfinder.com has named August 12 “Adopt-a-Less-Adoptable-Pet Day.” After talking with shelters and rescues about which animals were slowest to be adopted, Petfinder.com determined that senior dogs, large black dogs, dogs with medical problems and special needs, and others are some of the most difficult to rehome.

To help, “Adopt-a-Less-Adoptable-Pet Day” hopes to focus attention on the special love these pets can provide. For more information, visit the Adopt-a-Less-Adoptable-Pet page on Petfinder.com.
