DogTipper Celebrates One-Year Anniversary

DogTipper.com celebrated its one-year anniversary today…plus a week of birthdays! The website that began a year ago this week was followed days later by co-publisher Paris Permenter’s birthday and the best birthday present ever: an afternoon at a shelter spent choosing (make that being chosen by) the newest member of the family, Tiki. This year we celebrated not only the site’s anniversary but the “birthday” or anniversary of Tiki’s adoption.
Through the year, DogTipper.com has grown to almost 2,000 pages including hundreds of tips for dog lovers–not to mention dog photos contributed by readers from around the globe. We’ve expanded to include dog news, product reviews, daily photos of celebrities and their dogs and an ever-growing database of dog-centric festivals and special events. 
It has been an exciting year of development, all carefully overseen not only by Tiki but by our senior dog advisor, Irie.
Along the way, we’ve met fellow dog lovers who’ve shared their tips, their stories, and their love of dogs. This past year, we’ve been excited to focus our professional writing careers, ones dating back to the mid-80s, on the subject of man’s (and woman’s) best friend.
We’d like to give a big thank you to all our DogTipper readers, Twitter followers and Facebook fans and friends…thanks for allowing us to share our love of dogs with you. We look forward to fetching all new tips in the coming year along with plenty of doggie news and more!
