Nestle Purina PetCare Launches iPhone App for Traveling Dog Lovers

Nestle Purina PetCare has introduced a new iPhone app for pet lovers covering “petcentric places.” The iPhone application can be downloaded for free from the App store within iTunes and works on the latest version of the iPhone 3.0 software; it is also available for iPod Touch users.

Coverage: The app includes pet-friendly locations and activities in the United States such as:

  • Dog parks and beaches
  • Campgrounds and amusement parks
  • Travel accommodations

For pet lovers searching for helpful information to care for their pets, “petcentric places” supplies U.S. locations for:

  • Pet sitters

  • Dog walkers

You’ll also be able share photos of their pets on a photo gallery plus add and rate pet-friendly places and services available on the application. In addition, consumers can find tips for pet care and the latest products for pets on “petcentric places.”
