It’s time for Facebook Friday! Every week we take a look as some of the new favorite pages of DogTipper.com’s own Facebook fan page to help readers discover the many resources available for dog lovers on this social media site:
The American Kennel Club, now celebrating its 125th year, has a very active fan page with links to interviews about dogs, news about Responsible Dog Ownership events, and more.
This New Jersey-based dog training company’s fan page is filled with excellent videos of use to dog families everywhere.
The Healing Art of Pet Parenthood
The fan site for a book and website of the same name, this popular fan site includes interviews with the author, information on senior dog care, many reader postings, and more. The author, Nadine M. Rosin, treated her dog’s cancer holistically and she lived an additional 11 years after the initial diagnosis.
The fan page of New York-based pet photographer Lisa Prince Fishler, includes links to news of interest to dog lovers and some amazing dog photos; be sure to click on the Photos tab to check out some of the shots.
This Facebook fan page is associated with the new Scoop the Poop, Austin educational campaign to encourage Austinites to clean up after their pups. With a dog population of about 120,000, the city estimates that 22 million pounds of dog waste is generated every year.
