What It Is: Weekly one-hour TV series on the National Geographic Channel (10pm ET/PT) documenting the activities of the Rescue Ink animal activists. Premiers Friday, Sept. 25, 2009.
This new series takes a look at a unique group of animal activists named Rescue Ink. The Long Island-based group is made up of over 1,700 pounds of muscle and over 80 tattoos–and an unending devotion to helping out animals, whether that means abused dogs, cats caught in a hoarding situation, or chickens loose in a Queens neighborhood.
