It’s time for Facebook Friday! Every week we look at some of the new discoveries of Dogtipper.com’s Facebook fan page, each a page of interest to dog lovers. If you’ve got a favorite Facebook fan page of interest to dog lovers, please drop us an email!

ITo Loves Animals

A companion to I’m Tired Of… (a very popular fan page and website), ITo Loves Animals concentrates on all things furry. Like its website, IToLovesanimals.com, the fan site features cute photos in The Daily Smile, lots of animal news, and merchandise that benefits animals with as much as 50 percent of the sale (check out the “I’m Tired of Puppy Mills” and “I’m Tired of BSL” bracelets!)

Raise A Green Dog

Whether your dog is black, white, brown, spotted, brindle, or something in between, he should be a green dog! Don’t miss this Facebook page for RaiseAGreenDog.com; like the site, the fan page focuses on all things eco-friendly for dogs. Look for news on everything from dog beds made from recycled polyester fiber to new dog clothes made from organic wool.

SURFPET for Pets on the Go

Are you going to be on the go in the upcoming holiday season? Check out SURFPET, the fan site for a new company featuring products for pets on the go. On this new fan site, look for lots of animal news covering everything from the pet care industry to the rising risk of heartworms. Don’t miss the videos on dog travel products.

Teeny’s Friends

We first heard about Teeny’s Friends over on Twitter and this cause also has a blog about its excellent work: raising toys to give needy dogs. In the Austin area, Teeny’s Friends has monthly dog toy drives or you can purchase one of Teeny’s toys online for your dog; for every one purchased, a second is donated to needy shelter dogs so they can have some fun!
