This book by Dawn Kairns chronicles life with black lab Maggie, the special bond between animals and their guardians, and healing from pet loss. Ten percent of this book’s royalties are donated to Mainline Animal Rescue, dedicated to raising awareness of the unacceptable conditions in puppy mills.
Pit Bulls – The Other Good Dog
This very active fan page highlights the many positive aspects of pit bulls with fan photos and input as well as important information on pending Breed Specific Legislation (BSL) in cities that can impact the lives of pit bull families by banning and even ordering euthanization solely based on breed.
The bestseller from John Grogan has a big fan base; you want find many author postings here but you will see numerous fan postings from around the world about how much this book meant to them.
