Every Friday, our DogTipper Facebook fan page takes a look at some of our new favorite Facebook fan pages for dog lovers. Do you have a favorite dog-related Facebook fan page? Please be sure to leave us a comment or drop us a note (just click on the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the page)!
Animal Sheltering MagazineThe fan page for Animal Sheltering Magazine, this seemed like a good choice on National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week! The magazine is aimed at everyone involved in the animal shelter field, from vets and shelter employees to volunteers; the fan page has links to the magazine's contests, news on HSUS puppy mill raids, and more.
National Mutt DayGet ready to celebrate December 2, National Mutt Day! This new fan page and the special animal celebrations surrounding it is the work of pet lifestyle expert Colleen Paige.
PawcuriousFollow Dr. V for look at the life of a vet who writes with a sense of humor. This is an especially good time to follow Dr. V who will be staying up on a 24-hour blogathon Friday, November 6 to raise money for the National Animal Shelter Appreciation Week!
Toy Breed RescueNot a fan page but a regular profile (so you'll have to wait briefly to get approved), Toy Breed Rescue's page is very active and posts information on adoptable toy breeds (and sometimes large dogs as well). The group is based in Alabama but does out of state adoptions.
