It’s Facebook Friday again! Every Friday, we share some of the latest favorite pages of our own DogTipper Facebook fan page, ones that we believe fellow dog lovers will enjoy. If you have some favorites of your own, be sure to leave them in our comments section!
The upcoming holidays mean that many dog lovers will be calling on pet sitters to care for their dogs and cats while they travel. This fan page for PetSitUSA.com, an online directory of professional pet sitters, dog walkers, and dog daycare centers, features contests and articles of interest to dog lovers.
Ricochet, best known as “Rip Curl Ricki,” started life training as a service dog but, due to her love of chasing birds, had to leave the program. Ricochet’s life of service didn’t end there, though; she has gone on to become an incredible service dog by way of fundraising thanks to her surfing skills! In honor of the launch of DogTipper’s own CatTipper section this week, we wanted to point out two excellent cat Facebook fan pages: CatChannel.com (by the publishers of Cat Fancy) and Cat Fancy magazine. Both very popular pages include lots of reader interaction. Be sure to check out the Cat College postings; Cat Fancy is running a Cat College for the next several months that sounds fun for cat lovers!
