We just learned about a new iPhone app that benefits animal rescue organizations (making it, according to the press materials, the only one of more than 100,000 apps on the Apple iTunes App Store that benefits animal rescue organizations.)

Rescue Cleaner features videos of six dogs, two cats and a ferret…all put to work inside your mobile device “cleaning” your screen with their tongues! Each of the dogs and cats are rescues (and none were harmed in any way in the making of this app).

Twenty-five percent of all proceeds from revenue generated by the apps are donated to rescue organizations nationwide. Founders Steve and Ruthanna Sweatman have been involved with rescue groups in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area for over eight years.

Price: Price per download is only $1.99 from the iTunes App Store.
