Animal Cops. This popular Animal Planet reality series takes a look at animal welfare in some of the country’s largest cities.
A Dog Named Christmas. A Hallmark Hall of Fame production, this TV movie based on the best-selling book of the same name by Greg Kincaid has inspired a nationwide effort to encourage fostering of dogs and cats over the holidays.Dog Whisperer. This popular National Geographic Channel series follows Dog Whisperer Cesar Millan as he works to rehabilitate dogs and train people.
Dogs 101. Dogs of all shapes and sizes are the stars of this Animal Planet series that each week examines the characteristics of several breeds.
DogTown. This National Geographic Channel series takes a look at DogTown, the dog facility at the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in southern Utah.
Hotel for Dogs. This movie adaption of the Lois Duncan book of the same name centers around two orphans that hide their dog–and soon many other dogs–in an abandoned hotel.
It’s Me or the Dog. Dog trainer Victoria Stilwell stars in this Animal Planet reality series that uses positive reinforcement to train troubled dogs.
The National Dog Show. Broadcast by NBC on Thanksgiving Day, the television broadcast of this conformation show in Philadelphia is hosted by John O’Hurley.
Ricochet the Surfing Dog. Trained as a service dog, Ricochet is now a SURFice dog, surfing and fundraising for charitable causes like spinal cord injured Patrick Ivison.
