Watch for Five Snowboarding Bulldogs in Rose Parade

When you watch the Rose Parade this year, be sure to keep an eye out for the Natural Balance float. Tillman the skateboarding bulldog (named by Guinness World Records as the “World’s Fastest Skateboarding Dog”) will be making his second appearance in Guinness as he and sidekicks Rose and Lyle snowboard on the world’s longest float at the Tournament of Roses® Parade.

A contest to find two more dogs to snowboard with them had over 60 entrants, with Niko and Tank emerging as winners. The 114 foot float features a giant ramp for Tillman and his bulldog friends to snowboard on, with an area at the front for Natural Balance co-owner Dick Van Patten to sit.

This will be the second year the Parade has featured a float from Natural Balance Pet Foods, with last year’s float featuring Tillman, Rose and their four-legged pals skateboarding.

“We had a great time last year with the bulldogs skateboarding, and this snowboarding float is really incredible. I’m jealous, because those dogs can snowboard better than me,” Natural Balance President Joey Herrick said in a statement.
