Football fans know the season is coming down to one big game soon…yes, that means it’s time for Animal Planet’s annual Puppy Bowl! This year PUPPY BOWL VI hits the gridiron of Animal Planet Stadium with a lineup of rescue puppies.
All the dogs are from shelters, including the SPCA of Anne Arundel County (Maryland), Pennsylvania SPCA, All Star Pet Rescue (New Jersey), and from as far away as Waveland Animal Shelter (Mississippi) and All Paws Rescue (Missouri). Viewers who are interested in adopting from a shelter in their area can visit Petfinder.com, the best online resource for finding adoptable pets.
Broadcast Date: Sunday, February 7, 2010 from 3-5 PM (ET/PT) on Animal Planet
New This Year: For the first time in the history of the broadcast, aerial coverage will be provided by the Twizzler’s® blimp and its rogue hamster crew. Also new: the sidelines will be hopping with the addition of spirited bunny rabbit cheerleaders.
