stampsHalo, Purely for Pets is working with the US Postal Service to promote its 2010 social awareness stamp: “Animal Rescue: Adopt a Shelter Pet.” The stamps can now be preordered at stampstotherescue.com; on April 30, Ellen DeGeneres will join the Postmaster General for the official stamp dedication ceremony to be held at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in Hollywood. The stamps will be available to the public that day.

Halo is also working toward a goal of a one million meal donation of Halo Spot’s Stew to feed shelter pets in 2010; the effort is conducted through contests, Facebook, Twitter, and FreeKibble.com.  Halo has partnered with FreeKibble.com and together they have already donated 120,000 meals to shelter pets this year.
