I have 3 dogs in the family and when we go for walks/hikes/out, I always have poop bags and with this leash-I wouldn’t have to always remember to restock my bag!

Would love to win this leash for a dog I just rescued from the Bronx. He had no collar, leash, tags, etc. and was wondering around some running trails in the woods. Right now we are using an old horse reign rope as a leash until we buy a new one. You can follow our new furry friend on Twitter to learn more about his life story so far! http://www.twitter.com/boogie_dog

I am a professional pet-sitter and dog walker. As you can imagine, I have a leash in my hand for several hours per day. A comfort grip handle is important so that my hands don’t get fatigued. I don’t want a dog to be able to jerk a leash out of my hand because I couldn’t hold on tightly when needed. But even more important is having a poop bag always at the ready. A good Pet Nanny always stoops and scoops!! I don’t want a left-behind pile to dirty my professional reputation! This leash would really meet two of the most important criteria for my job.

My Roxy would love this leash! My neighbors will also love for me to get the leash as I always forget the poop bag and generally need to run home, get the bag and head bag out to retrieve the gift Roxy has left by her favorite tree :)

Have a yellow lab, and she is crazy. So having the bag and leash together would be great!

We need a good extended leash! I’m Maggie, a basset hound. My significant other is Oakley. Our parents rescued us from a puppy mill. I weigh 79 lbs. and have a good strong extended leash. But, Oakley needs a new strong extended leash ( he weighs 69 lbs.). Being bassets, we leave large deposits on our walks in our neighborhood. Our parents would love to have a built in dispenser for the waste bags they carry on our walks to pick up our LARGE, not so good, gifts along the way.
    Please consider us!
    Thank you,
    Maggie & Oakley

My Daphne is a champion walker. Her current leash has seen better days. Also having the built-in bags would help for those times that we forget the bags in the house only to discover that we are half away through our walk and have to run home and fetch them. ~LeeLa

I think my dog deserves this new leash as he’s had some rough times lately. He’ll be six this weekend and is having his eye taken out next week. He has lymphoma in just one eye and so they hope by removing it they can stop it spreading. He’s a feisty Jack Russell-mutt who we rescued a few years ago after he was found abandoned. He’d be super happy to receive a new present – and a new leash would just mean more walks!

Even though we live in the country and always considered things like body eliminations to be fertilizer, we have urbanized cranky neighbours who don’t see it like that and now rather than letting it fertilize the ground we have to pick it up and dispose of it. So I guess to appease our neighbours this leash would be very handy and probably quite welcome in our neighbourhood.

The girls and I take Skipper on walks everyday. Sarah one of my twins wants a retractable leash, I have pulled away from buying one. But the one on your site is perfect for our new puppy, she will be turning one in August. Happy Birthday Skipper! ( The Ripper )

I have always wanted one of these. It would be so much handier to not get all wrapped up in your lead when your walking the dog.

i have a 5 year old male husky dog. when we got him 2 years ago my bright family told me the dog had a lump and nobody did anything about this huge lump. we could not afford it and are still paying for it and we do without because of the dog. we had the lump removed it was cancer and the dog suffered with the cancer operation. over 2000 dollars later. now he has a hip problem and i have been told it will be over 4000 for hydro therapy we cannot afford that much we would have to live on the streets. this dog has been through hell and back. i would love to win something for him he deserves it

We are getting a new basset puppy in four weeks. This leash would be perfect for teaching him to walk nicely when we go on walks.

    Hello,

I have 3 Dobies and this leash will be of great use !

  • Jan D

I have always wanted one of these gadgets to walk my dog – they look so handy.

As many times as Bo and I go for a walk, he always starts out the same way..like he’s in a marathon, dragging me along for the ride. It takes him at least a block into our walk before he stops the drag-a-mom-thon…it would be great to have this leash in order for me to hang on for dear life during that first block. Not to mention Bo always seems to save his “business” for walk-time…how convenient to have the bags right in the leash handle! Ingenious!

We’d love to win this leash. Why? Because our dogs always, always, always do a poo on walks! Sometimes twice – this way we’d never forget the bags and we’ll always be prepared for a quick clean up!

Wow! What a great idea to have it built in. I wonder how it gets refilled?
