This week we’ve been writing a lot about BlogPaws, the pet bloggers’ conference we attended last weekend in Columbus, Ohio. For this week’s Facebook Friday, we wanted to share the Facebook fan pages for the bloggers behind the Be the Change Day we told you about earlier today to raise money for the Columbus, Ohio-based Pets without Parents. These bloggers work year around the raise money for rescues–and spread a lot of furry fun as well!
UK-based Frugal Dougal, the Twittering terrier, hosts monthly parties on Twitter for anipals to raise money for animal charities around the world. Look for the next PawParty on April 21, a special blogparty to benefit Pets Without Parents.
Dr. V brings her sense of humor–and a dedication to animal welfare– to this Facebook fan page and her blog, Pawcurious.com. Dr. V covers her animal fundraising on this fan page, including recent efforts ranging from running numerous eBay auctions to raise money after Haiti’s earthquake to blogging for 24 hours to sampling several dog foods–firsthand!
This super-popular fan page for Petfinder.com is active with links to articles for pet lovers. Look for links to Petfinder posts such as “10 Simple Ways Bloggers Can Help Pets Every Day.”
Look for all things cute on this busy fan page and its accompanying blog, YourDailyCute.com. Blogger Dorian works to transform homeless pets into someone’s new cutie; read about her pledge to volunteer at her local shelter as part of the Be the Change Challenge.
Based in Columbus, Ohio, this non-profit no-kill shelter is home to numerous adoptable dogs and cats; photos of many are featured on the Facebook group page!
Do you have a pet-centric Facebook fan page? Every Friday we spotlight Facebook fan pages of interest to both cat and dog lovers. Please leave us a comment with the URL of your page to add to our list!
