martyDoes your dog love toys…sometimes a little too much? We know we have a tough time finding toys for our lab mix Irie, who can de-stuff a toy like it’s an Olympic event.

If you’ve got a dog that’s tough on toys, we’ve got two prizes for you this week, both from DogTuff.com, a company that specializes in durable dog toys and accessories. Two winners will be selected for this giveaway; one will win a $25 gift certificate at DogTuff.com and the other will win a Marty the Triceratops durable toy. (Marty is made of four layers: two layers of industrial grade luggage material, one layer of plastic coating, and a layer of soft fleece on the outside. It’s all stitched together with two layers of cross stitching plus two layers of linear stitching…then an additional piece of black trim is added to cover the four rows of stitching. The trim then gets more stitches to give the product a total of seven seams…resulting in one tough toy!)

    I think the gift certificate please. A toy that didn’t have stuffing would be much better for us. We have 2 labs, I un-stuff all of their stuffed toys and re-stuff them with old sheets. Much easier to pick up.

    My dog Coco wants to win Marty!!! We have been trying to find toy that she can’t destroy in day day one or day two. Marty looks like he may fit the bill. Afterall this is the dog that ate two dining room chairs and the walls as a puppy.

    I have a great dane and she is hard on everything. Living up to her name, sometimes she is Bad “Karma” and sometimes she is good “Karma.” Either way she loves to play. I even tried a horse jolly ball, and that was destroyed by the end of the week. She certainly is a poster dog for dogTUFF toys!

    sounds like my dog and your dog are cut from the same jaw! Karma is always destroying stuff in the yard. She destroyed a life jacket last week and it’s EVERYWHERE. But she doesn’t mess with stuff in the house so I guess I should count my blessings.

    Cooper is my mini-schnauzer would like to take on Marty. Out of all the dogs that I have had in my life he is by far the most tenacious chewer and loves to “kill” his toys. First the eyes go and then they resemble road kill. The ones that hold up the best are the Kong Wubbas, although he manages to destroy the squeaker in no time flat.
