Proving that compassion is always in fashion, Cloud K9® is helping homeless pets with their just-launched “Giving Back for the Howl-idays”™ program. Through February 14, 2011, 10 percent of the purchase price of dog-themed jewelry and business card cases will benefit Best Friends Animal Society, the nation’s largest no-kill sanctuary.
Cloud K9® offers a wide range of canine accented accessories:
- Pet parents can show that their canine companion is always close to their heart by wearing a Dog Angel Pin. The tiny winged tail-waggers, which are individually handcrafted, are sweet symbols of our heaven-sent friends.
- Dog devotees can carry a photo of their Fido in a brass locket which bears the likeness of their dog’s breed. Regular size lockets are 1.25″ in diameter, while large sizes run 1.75″ in diameter.
- Brass cuff bracelets are a decorative way to show love for man’s best friend.
- Paw print jewelry is a display of devotion toward all animals.
- Available in more than 70 breeds, dog lovers can celebrate the season with a Christmas Howl-iday Wreath Pin.
- A portrait of a pooch adds a personal, and playful, touch to a professional business card case. Many popular breeds, which are represented in reliefs running from classic poses to comic caricatures, decorate the lids of the 3 5/8″ x 2 1/4″ x 3/16″ cases, which hold approximately 10 business cards or three credit cards.
“The recession has been difficult for people, and for pets, as well,” jewelry designer Carole Meyer states. “Many pets are being surrendered to shelters because their human families can no longer afford to take care of them.”
Cloud K9® jewelry ranges in price from $20 to $55. To participate in the “Giving Back for the Howl-idays”™ program, customers need to type “BFAS” in the comments box of the online shopping cart when making a purchase.
