It’s time for Facebook Friday, our weekly feature spotlighting four Facebook fan pages of interest to pet lovers.

- Iams is aiming to give 5 million meals to homeless animals. You can help donate a meal to a pet by following the Adoption Angel’s stories on Facebook.com/Iams and “LIKE” photos, videos and posts. For every “like” they receive, Iams will donate a meal to a homeless animal!
- K9Cuisine, a company that sells super-premium foods, has pledged 5,000 pounds of food for homeless animals if they reach 5,000 fans by Oct. 31, 2010!
A while back, Bandit was our Dog of the Day here; Bandit also holds the distinction of being the star of the book Bandit, Big Black Dog Who Stole My Heart. This therapy dog recently had serious health troubles and is now recovering; check his fan page for a news video that recently ran about his health struggles and his career.
The incredibly popular fan page for www.dogwork.com, a site featuring pet videos (mostly dogs but others as well), features links to videos as well as lots of interaction. Be sure to click the “Just Others” link on the page to see the many fan photos that have been submitted.
Whether you’re searching for an elegant dress for your dog to wear at a wedding or a holiday event, be sure to check out Fidele, the fan page for http://www.fidelefashion.com. This fan page is new so stop over and leave a note to say hi–and check out the darling dresses. (Irie and Tiki and looking at the fashion photos and wishing the dresses came in their large sizes!)
If you love to dress your dog or cat up for Halloween, don’t miss this Facebook group. Featuring photos taken by pet lovers, you’ll see both costumed pet photos and videos celebrating this time of year.
