He may have climbed to the top of the Billboard charts with his single “Beautiful Girls,” but in the eyes of dog devotees singer Sean Kingston has a beautiful soul. The rapper was recognized for his respect for the rights of Rovers at the 5th annual Libby Awards with a win in the category of Most Animal-Friendly Hip-Hop Artist of 2010.

Having posed for PETA’s anti-dog chaining ad campaign with Stella, one of his four-pawed pals, Kingston’s compassion touched the hearts of fans who voted him into the top spot over other worthy nominees Travie McCoy, Kottonmouth Kings and Masta Killa.

Sponsored by PETA2, the Libbys also honored other animal-loving luminaries including Twilight star Kellan Lutz, who received the distinction of winning in the Favorite PETA2 Hottie category and 106 & Park co-host Rocsi Diaz, who garnered a win as Favorite Media personality.
