Tinsley Mortimer Adopts a Shelter Dog

Share with fellow dog lovers!

Congratulations to new pet parent Tinsley Mortimer, who has added to her four-legged family by adopting from the Humane Society of New York! Recognizing the joys that an adult dog can bring to a person’s life, the socialite fell in love with a 7-year-old chihuahua named Bamz, who will now be a barking buddy for Tinsley’s two chihuahuas, Bebe and Bella. Like any new Momma, Ms. Mortimer proudly posted a picture of her new fur baby on Twitter.

The New York notable has just returned to The Big Apple after a short stay in Palm Beach, Florida, where she attended the American Humane Association’s luncheon honoring Martha Stewart. The former reality personality was also recognized at the event for her role as the organization’s new National Ambassador.

After dining on palate-pleasing, pet-inspired menu items during the American Humane Association luncheon (including a “cute dessert shaped like a dog house,” she confided to her Twitter fans,) the luxury handbag designer returned home with a special treat for her tail-wagging chums– personalized CESAR® Canine Cuisine meals featuring the face of Bella, one of Ms. Mortimer’s charming chihuahuas.
