ASPCA Bergh Ball Set for April 14, 2011

To support the ASPCA’s mission “to provide effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals throughout the United States,” plans for the 14th Annual ASPCA Bergh Ball are underway. The celebrity-filled event, set for April 14, 2011 at New York City’s The Plaza Hotel, draws a passionate crowd of animal lovers who come to dine and dance as they support the ASPCA mission.

This year’s “Fairy Tails” black-tie ball, sponsored by 1stdibsĀ®, will be emceed by popular designer Isaac Mizrahi and Hugh Hildesley of Sotheby’s will serve as event auctioneer. Additional confirmed attendees include Grammy Award-winning musician Roberta Flack, Matt and Annette Lauer, fashion photographer Roberto Dutesco, and others.

Tickets for the event start at $300 per person. Last year’s event, with its dinner, dancing and auction, raised over $1 million.
