Helping animals who have been dealt a bad hand in life, celebrity poker players will go all out for the Nevada SPCA by going all in at the gambling table during the 5th annual Jennifer Harman Celebrity Poker Tournament.

Held in conjunction with the Nevada State Poker Championship, the Heartland Poker Tour televised event begins with VIP arrivals, the Peppermill Poker Room ribbon cutting and celebrity/pro live exhibition on day one. The following day a plethora of paparazzi magnets will promenade with pooches and purring pals on the red carpet before participating in the Jennifer Harman CPT Throw Down.

When it comes to finding famous philanthropic faces to participate in the event the Jennifer Harman Poker Throw Down hit the jackpot, with a full house of Hollywood stars, athletes and professional poker players invited to attend, including:

Julie Benz (No Ordinary Family, Dexter, Angel, Roswell)

Billy Burke (Twilight, Red Riding Hood)

Trishelle Cannatela (The Real World Las Vegas)

Carrot Top

Jennifer Elise Cox (The Brady Bunch Movie)

Keir Dillon (host of X-Games)

…and many more!

It’s a sure bet that animal lovers will want to bid on items during the Pacific Auction Company’s silent auction and the live auction, which will feature an autographed guitar donated by Sir Elton John and a custom designed 916PokerDepot.com poker table autographed by pros and celebrities.

The event will end with the third annual Poker Throw Down party at Peppermill’s poolside Terrace Lounge featuring live entertainment and a hosted bar.

Entry for the no-limit hold’em Poker Throw Down is only $200 + $30 for individual participants, $200 + $50 for individuals with team benefits, and $2,500 per 10-player team. To register, visit http://www.peppermillreno.com/casino/event.cfm?id=1335
