Rita Rudner Hosting Best in Show Adoption Event

Stand up comedienne Rita Rudner will stand up for shelter Spots as the host of the 8th annual Best in Show on May 1, 2011. Benefiting The Animal Foundation in Las Vegas (which operates the Lied Animal Shelter,) the AKC-inspired dog show doubles as an adoption drive with more than 50 foundling Fidos looking for forever homes.
Held at The Orleans Arena, the event will include a VIP brunch, silent auction, canine comic quips and runway-strutting Rovers. Tickets cost $12 for adults and $5 for seniors and children under the age of 12.
