Celebrity magician Matt Wayne is about to perform his most amazing feat– making a bit of the anguish suffered by animals during the Alabama tornadoes disappear.
Touched by the tragedy in Tuscaloosa, Matt Wayne established Operation Toto Relief, a humane relief effort which will provide dog and cat food, blankets and other animal supplies to pets affected by the recent natural disaster. On May 8, 2011 the entertainer will embark on a 1,044 mile journey from New York City to Tuscaloosa to distribute donations from pet food companies and caring individuals to Canant Veterinary Hospital, Metro Animal Shelter and The Humane Society of West Alabama.
Several stars are also showing their support for Toto Relief by offering 8X10 autographed photos as thank you gifts for donations of $50 or more, including:
Loretta Swit: animal advocate who portrayed “Hot Lips” Houlihan in the classic TV series M*A*S*H.
Bonnie-Jill Laflin: Television sports personality and former NFL cheerleader for the 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys.
Doug Jones: Actor who has appeared in Hellboy 1 and 2, Legion, F4: Rise of the Silver Surfer and on TV as one of The Gentlemen in “Hush,’ an iconic episode of Buffy The Vampire Slayer.

Andy Karl: A Broadway star seen in the hits Wicked, Saturday Night Fever and Legally Blonde The Musical.
Richard Pryor Jr.: Son of the late comedy legend/animal advocate Richard Pryor, Richard Pryor Jr. has appeared in College Debts and provides a voice in the upcoming animated movie Stork.
People who are passionate about pets can make a monetary donation at TotoRelief.com to help cover the cost of travel and gas. Any amount left over once the trip is complete will be sent to the Humane Society of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
