Pedigree has kicked off the “Every Dog Deserves” campaign to donate 100,000 pound of food to shelters across the country, emphasizing that “Every Dog Deserves” leading nutrition. Throughout the month of June 2011, the company is asking dog lovers to help Pedigree help dogs by logging onto Pedigree’s Facebook page or tweeting with the hashtag #everydogdeserves to tell Pedigree why they think “Every Dog Deserves” the very best.
How to Help Dogs
For each Like, comment, @reply, re-tweet, photo upload, etc. directed at Pedigree, they’ll donate one pound of food (up to 100,000 pounds total) to help shelter dogs!
On Facebook
- like the Pedigree’s Facebook page
- upload a photo of your dog on their page
- post a comment on their page
On Twitter (Remember: you need the actual symbol # immediately followed by everydogdeserves in your tweet for it to count toward a donation!)
- send a tweet with the hashtag #everydogdeserves Here’s an example: I think #everydogdeserves good nutrition because it’s the least I can do for my best friend!
- retweet a tweet with the hashtag #everydogdeserves
- post a photo of your dog on Twitter and include the hashtag #everydogdeserves
