We’re all trying to find ways to beat the heat this summer and that includes dog lovers in Japan. The country, due to earthquake damage, has instituted Setsuden, an energy saving initiative that has residents turning up the thermostats and finding innovative ways to stay cool…including keeping their pets cool. Sales of dog cooling suits have increased 500 percent this summer as dog lovers strive to keep pooches comfortable.
