Petties Awards Program Announces Expansion

As you know, DogTipper is a finalist in the Petties Awards this year (for Best Social Integration Blog). We just received notice that several great additions are being made to the awards ceremony scheduled for August 26, 2011 at 5pm EDT at BlogPaws.
We’ve received word that this year, for the first time ever, the Petties (also known as the DogTime Pet Blogger Awards) winners will be announced via YouTube. And here’s an amazing addition: “Not only will winners receive a $1,000 donation to a shelter of their choice, but we will be giving away donations to people watching the broadcast on August 26th, and announcing a new $10,000 Petties donation during the broadcast!”
We’ll be sure to bring you more details on the broadcast from BlogPaws as soon as we have them. In the meantime, we’d LOVE it if you could take a moment and vote for us in the Petties. You can vote twice daily, per day; voting ends on July 29, 2011. (You don’t have to register or anything to vote; it only takes a moment!)
If we win, our $1,000 donation will go to House with a Heart Senior Pet Sanctuary which adopts senior dogs and cats that otherwise might not make it out of the shelters and lets them live their golden years in a home setting.
