Beth Stern Helps Adoptable Dogs on Fox & Friends

On the hunt for forever homes, a trio of Treeing Walker Coonhound mixes got the chance to lap up the limelight as they joined North Shore Animal League America’s celebrity spokesperson Beth Ostrosky Stern on Fox & Friends.

The wife of animal-loving shock jock Howard Stern (and Mom to three NSALA cats– Walter, Apple and a new purring pal who was adopted on the day the Fox & Friends segment aired!) is using her high-profile presence to promote Mutt-i-grees® Month, which is taking place throughout August.

Shining a spotlight on the 8 – 10 million pets who find themselves in shelters each year, Beth Stern stepped in front of the camera to film a PSA to highlight the option of adoption as part of a promotion for the Mutt-i-grees® movement, which asks fellow fans of Fidos and felines to spread the message of shelter adoption through social media. (DogTipper’s piece about Mutt-i-grees® Month features Beth Stern’s PSA and ways for those who are passionate about pets to participate in the movement.)

Anyone interested in adopting one of the 7-mo-old siblings (who are currently known as Velvet, Roxy and Bogart) or any of NSALA’s other mixed breed fur babies, can contact North Shore Animal League America, the world’s largest no-kill rescue and adoption organization.
