We talked with many bloggers during BlogPaws about Pedigree’s blogger initiative but, just as a reminder (or if you weren’t at BlogPaws), don’t forget that you can feed shelter dogs with your blog post! For each blog post, Pedigree will donate 20 pounds of dog food to shelters impacted by this weekend’s Hurricane Irene, up to 10,000 pounds.
To take part in Pedigree’s “Write a Post, Help a Dog” initiative, all you have to do is write a blog post mentioning the Pedigree Foundation, a non-profit that provides grants to shelters and rescue groups and encourages dog adoption. You don’t have to be a dog blogger or even a pet blogger to participate so if you have any friends who are mommy bloggers or have another type of blog, everyone is welcome to participate.
For all the details on how to participate, visit our previous post on the “Write a Post, Help a Dog” initiative! You’ll find a blog hop on that post with other blogs taking part in the program; once you have your blog post written, be sure to join in the hop! The deadline is midnight ET, September 3, 2011.
