Our Social Media Efforts for Shelters Expand!

We’re so excited to announce that we’re going to be expanding our social media efforts to help shelters and rescues get the word out about their adoptables!
As you know, we’ve been working with Have a Heart, a Florida rescue, to help them set up presence on MyShelterSite, a great tool for shelters and rescues that gives them their own free (!) website. We’ve been through a training webinar with the folks from MyShelterSite and seen how easy it is to use the templates; in the coming weeks we’ll be bringing you more as Have a Heart implements their site.
In the meantime, though, we’ve got a big announcement to make! We’re going to be working a small group of other pet bloggers to help shelters and rescues improve their social media, websites, and their online presence. We’ll be working with:
- Caroline from Romeo The Cat
- Jaime from Thoughts Fur Paws
- Jessica from Pawcurious
Every week, the group will take a question from a shelter or rescue, toss it around, and publish a post on Monday!
Does your shelter or rescue have a question about social media and websites? We’d love to help! You can use the contact form at the top of the page or email editors@dogtipper.com and we’ll try to help! Be sure to include links to your social media accounts and website so we can see what your group is doing now.
