Pedigree Launches “Write a Post, Help a Dog” Program #dogsrule

As you know, we’ll be attending BlogPaws this week to meet up with other pet bloggers and pet company representatives. We’re being sponsored by Pedigree and will be helping them publicize the Pedigree Foundation “Write a Post, Help a Dog” initiative to raise food and money for needy dogs! This 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization provides grants to shelters and rescue groups and encourages dog adoption.
While we’re at BlogPaws, we’ll be passing out postcards with information on how bloggers can help donate food to shelter dogs with their posts. You don’t have to be attending BlogPaws to take part, though!
Below you’ll find the back of the postcard that we’ll be passing out at BlogPaws with all the information on how you can join the effort to donate 10,000 pounds of the new PEDIGREE® food to a shelter! (We’ll know exactly which shelter is being chosen in a day or two and will pass along that information as soon as we have it.)
How to Help
Write a post mentioning the PEDIGREE Foundation by midnight ET, September 3, 2011. Your post will result in 20 pounds of food for shelter dogs!

Or you can make a donation directly to the PEDIGREE Foundation by visiting http://pedigreefoundation.org/donate.aspx This year, the PEDIGREE Foundation has already raised over $376,570 as it works to meet its goal of $1.5 million to help shelters continue to operate.
And if you’re with a shelter, your shelter can apply for a grant from the Pedigree Foundation by completing a form at pedigreefoundation.org.
