Rachael Ray Thanks Nutrish Pet Food Consumers

Celebrity chef Rachael Ray has whipped up a special treat in the form of a video “Thank you” for the millions of canine-loving consumers who have purchased bags of Nutrish®, Just 6® and Healthy Weight pet food for their four-legged friends.

Pet parents who wish to watch the video can use their smart phone to scan the Quick Response (QR) code found on more than 4.5 million packages of Rachael Ray’s pet food and treats across the country. The taped message offers the famous fan of Fidos not only the chance to express her gratitude for the more than $2 million in donations for various animal welfare organizations which have been generated by sales  of Nutrish since its development in 2008, but to also elaborate on the importance of helping pets in peril.

“Unfortunately there are a lot of animals out there that don’t have someone to love them. Our shelters in this country alone take in up to 8 million animals a year. And that was the need and the story behind the whole creation of Nutrish pet food and treats,” says Rachael in the video.

Rachael Ray has created the perfect recipe for philanthropic success through the sale of Nutrish,  and the bubbly TV personality continues her efforts to help homeless dogs through herRachael’s Rescue website.
