PAWtriotic Cards Salute 9-11 Anniversary

The 10th anniversary of the 9-11 tragedy will be a time of remembrance and special commemorations. We’ve received word of one unique commemoration of special interest to pet lovers by fine art photographer Stacey P. Morgan. The dog lover and advocate is launching a series of “PAWtriotic” greeting cards and a 2012 calendar on the 10th Anniversary of the 9-11 tragedy. The cards feature the photographer’s 10-year-old dog, Delta, photographed saluting the American Flag at various historical locations.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the cards will benefit America’s VetDogs, a national not-for-profit organization that places guide and service dogs with veterans with blindness, spinal cord injuries, hearing impairments, peripheral and central balance disorders, limb loss, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and traumatic brain injuries (TBI).
“It is my hope that the PAWtriotic Series will bring exposure to the wonderful partnerships between dog and man that America’s VetDogs is creating for some of our war veterans and ignite a feeling of patriotism that the American Flag personifies,” said Ms. Morgan.
