Precious Paws Celebrity Auction Underway

Precious Paws’ annual Celebrity Experience and Entertainment Memorabilia Auction is underway, and while those who place the highest bids will receive star swag, the abandoned companion animals cared for by the all-volunteer California rescue will be the real winners.

The following items are up for bid on eBay through September 11, 2011. The Precious Paws Official Celebrity Experience and Entertainment Memorabilia Auction will launch on September 22, 2011.

  • “Don’t Stop Believin’” that we can be the change in the lives of orphaned pets! Rock and roll comes to the rescue of Rovers and our purring pals in the form of a Journey Hollywood Bowl VIP Package. The high bidding fan of the ’80s band will receive two VIP tickets for seats in the first 10 rows for a concert held at the Hollywood Bowl; a backstage tour; a pre-show party; a chance to pose for pix with Journey band members; early entrance to the venue; an exclusive Journey gift bag; crowd-free merchandise shopping; Journey VIP commemorative laminate; Onsite ILAA host; Parking (where available).  A Hollywood happening that includes hit-makers Foreigner and Night Ranger, the Journey concert takes place on October 11, 2011.
  • Pet parents with kids can bid on a visit to the set of the Nickelodeon series Victorious. Four fans of the show will get the chance to meet the cast, pose for pix and get autographs.  Children must be at least 8 years old to visit the set and must be accompanied by an adult. The winner and guests will get to see the stars at a yet-to-be determined date in the winter/spring 2011/2012 season.
  • Dog devotees and friends of felines can help Precious Paws savor the sweet smell of a success when the auction ends by bidding on the perfume of a paparazzi magnet. Fans of socialite Paris Hilton can bid on a bottle of  the reality personality’s Can Can eau de parfum spray, complete with exterior packaging signed by the star.
  • Animal lovers can learn about some real party animals with a look between the covers of Inside the Playboy Mansion, an intimate portrait of the home of publisher Hugh Hefner, who autographed the book.
