“Spooky Buddies” DVD Unleashed September 20

Ever since the release of Air Buddies, a generation of little dog devotees has grown up giggling at the antics of five sibling Spots, and starting on September 20, 2011 kids can once again run with the pack of adorable Disney pups as they get tangled in a cobweb of comedy in the Halloween-themed DVD release Spooky Buddies.

Dirt-diving Mudbud, haute couture canine Rosebud, enlightened lap dog Buddha, pop locking pup B-Dawg and candy-craving Budderball are ready to scare up a little Halloween fun in this canine costume caper, which finds the playful puppies digging up adventure inside the eerie mansion of a warlock who hopes to rule the world when the Howlloween Hound is unleashed.

Proving that they’re not scaredy cats, the puppy posse attempts to foil the fiendish plot with the help of a clairvoyant Chinese Crested named Zelda, Beagle ghost Pip (featuring the voice of the youngest Jonas brother, Frankie Jonas) and an owl who is wise enough to know that dastardly deeds don’t stand a ghost of a chance against the band of barking buddies.

Featuring Disney Channel favorites such as Sierra McCormick (A.N.T. Farm) Skyler Gisondo (the voice of B-Dawg since the start of the Buddies series and now on screen as Billy, B-Dawg’s guardian) and Tucker Albrizzi (Good Luck Charlie) as well as actors adults will recognize, including Elisa Donovan (Clueless and Sabrina, The Teenage Witch), Jennifer Elise Cox (The Brady Bunch Movie) and comic legend Tim Conway, Spooky Buddies offers a frightfully fun time for the entire family.
