Watch Will Young’s video for his latest single “Come On” and chances are you’ll fall in love with both the angelic voice of the UK crooner and the singer’s canine co-star.  The Border Collie portrays a dog with a dejected demeanor which transforms into tail-wagging joy once he and his human friend have the chance to dance to their own tune– and in the process allows the hearts of dog devotees to dance along with them.

In the music video the British chart-topper trips the light fantastic with six-year-old Levi, who learned his fancy foot (…er, paw)work from his pet parent, Mary Ray. One of the the UK’s top trainers and a leader in teaching the art of doggy dancing (which is also referred to as Heelwork to Music), Mary Ray has shared her training techniques in several books, including Click & Train Your Dog, Mary Ray’s Superdog and Dog Tricks: Fun and Games for Your Clever Canine. If watching the Fido version of Fred Astaire has sparked your interest bonding with your barking buddy by learning how to cut a rug with your Rover, Mary Ray teaches the basics of canine freestyle in her book Dancing with Dogs.
