Baltimore Orioles Pose for 2012 Pet Calendar (video)

Members of the Baltimore Orioles have gone to bat for shelter cats and canines by posing with some four-pawed pals for the team’s 2012 pet calendar.

Benefiting BARCS (Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter), the 15-month, full-color calendar features both sports stars with the Fidos and felines on their home team as well as adorable adoptables from the Baltimore shelter.

Peeking at the pages of the third annual edition of the calendar, dog devotees will find:

• Matt Wieters smiling for the camera alongside his German Shepherd mix millie and two rescue cats.
• Brad Bergesen and his Puggle pal, Ernie.
• Brian Roberts and Rocky, his English Bulldog.
• Nick Markakis with his rescue Rover Tabby (a Yorkie Poo) and his Blue Weimaraner, Riley.
• Manager Buck Showalter, who shares the calendar’s cover with his four Basset Hound barking buddies.

The calendars are available for $15 plus shipping and handling.
