Already a top 10 smash on the UK charts, upon its arrival in the states on December 2nd Doris Day’s new CD “My Heart” will no doubt hold the number one spot in the collective heart of animal lovers as much for the sentimental journey it offers its listeners as for the knowledge that its purchase will help our four-legged friends.
Dog devotees are singing the star’s praises for her decision to donate all of the proceeds from her first album of previously unreleased material in 17 years to the Doris Day Animal Foundation, a non-profit which enriches the lives of both man’s best friend and other furry companions through community outreach programs and grant donations to other non-profit animal organizations.
