Pit Bulls and Parolees Nov. 26 Episode a ROAR Event

This Thanksgiving weekend dog devotees can give thanks to the world’s largest Pit Bull rescue by tuning in to a special episode of Pit Bulls & Parolees. Viewership for the Animal Planet program on the evening of November 26, 2011 will translate into funds to help the Fidos who consider Villalobos Rescue Center their temporary home.

The You Watch. We Give. campaign– part of the network’s non-profit initiative R.O.A.R.– hopes to repeat the success of 2010′s televised event which garnered $50,000 in donations for Villalobos, helping to cover half of the rescue’s vet bills last year, Animal Planet reports.

To take part in the R.O.A.R. event, tune in to Animal Planet at 10 P.M. ET on November 26, 2011 to watch an emotion-filled episode of Pit Bulls & Parolees in which Tia Maria Torres welcomes new members to her team of ex-con canine caretakers and receives heartbreaking news about the health of a dog who is on the brink of finding a forever home. Animal Planet will donate $.10 for every viewer, up to $50,000.
