Shorty Rossi Appearing at Petpalooza Family and Pet Holiday Expo

Raising both the spirits of dog devotees this Yuletide season and awareness of a paws cause, Animal Planet stars Shorty Rossi and his canine companion Hercules will make ‘Pit’ stops in Rochester and Williamsville, NY for Petpalooza’s Family & Pet Holiday Expo.

Presented by Petpalooza magazine (a free publication available at many supermarkets) pet parents can peruse for Christmas purchases for their pup or purring pal, have a picture taken with Santa (with proceeds benefiting the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm) and meet the Pit Boss star.

As a special present for people who are passionate about Pitties, Shorty Rossi will also attend the premiere of Hercules Saves Christmas at theaters in Rochester and Buffalo, with ticket sales ($12 for adults, $6 for children under 12) benefiting Shorty’s Charities, Lollipop Farm, Rochester Animal Services, Erie County SPCA and an area Pit Bull Rescue. After the family-friendly Fido flick, attendees can ask questions of the champion of underdogs in a Q&A session.

Tickets for Petpalooza are $5 each in advance and $6 at the door, with children under the age of 12 admitted free. As a special treat for those who purchase a ticket online, one lucky animal lover and a guest will win a VIP lunch with Shorty and Hercules at the expo!

When: December 3, 2011 from 10 a.m. – 5 pm. and December 4, 2011 from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Where: The December 3rd expo takes place at Main Street Armory at 900 East Main Street in Rochester, NY, while the December 4th expo will be held at Eastern Hills Mall at 4545 Transit Road in Williamsville, NY. Screenings of Hercules Saves Christmas takes place at Cinema Theater (957 South Clinton Avenue in Rochester, NY) on December 3rd at 7 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. and Dipson Theaters in Eastern Hills Mall on December 4th at 4:30 p.m.
